Time trip

The Origins of Sapiens Behaviour exhibition at Spier Wine Estate uses multimedia displays, audio and astonishing filmic re-creations to transport us back to the time of our ancestors. Replicas of artefacts are on display — shell necklaces and abstract art in ochre, and stone and bone tools. Spier is hosting the exhibition until the end of August, after which it will move to the Iziko South African Museum in Cape Town.
