Teen hacks Apple in hope of a job

An Australian teen who dreamt of working for Apple has pleaded guilty to hacking the firm’s computer systems.

The Children’s Court of Victoria was told he broke into Apple’s mainframe — a large, powerful dataprocessing system — from his home in the suburbs of Melbourne and downloaded 90GB of secure files.

The boy, then aged 16, will be sentenced next month. — AFP
