The African Development Bank Group has appointed Bajabulile Tshabalala vicepresident for finance and CFO.
She was executive director of Barbican Advisory Group. Tshabalala has 26 years’ experience in finance, treasury management and capital market operations at Old Mutual Employee Benefits, Transnet and Standard Bank. Tiger Brands has appointed Gail Klintworth an independent nonexecutive director.
She has experience across a number of sectors.
Klintworth is currently a partner at SYSTEMIQ.
Her previous roles include group customer director and responsible business lead at Old Mutual, and CEO of Unilever SA. The Brenthurst Foundation has appointed former Liberian president and Nobel laureate Ellen Johnson Sirleaf to its advisory board. The foundation said Sirleaf had worked tirelessly to promote peace, security, unity and reconciliation following years of civil war in Liberia, where her work earned her the 2011
Nobel peace prize. Ithala, a licensed financial services and registered credit provider, has appointed Delisile Mti head of credit.
She has spent 21 years in banking, managing public and private sector credit and overseeing departmental business growth.
Mti has an MBA, a BCom honours and an associate diploma in banking.
