The Red Beret Brigade’s Gossiper-in-Chief called another rumour-mongering session with scribes on Thursday. He shared all the second-hand gossip he hears from his drinking buddies. He told journos that Uncle Pravin was applying pressure on the officials preparing Mcebisi Jonas’s statement about how the Guptas offered him a ministerial post. Juju claimed some of the officials called him to complain that Pravin was shouting at them — giving instructions on how Jonas’s statement should read. Malema said the statement that Jonas released was a watereddown version of what Gordhan wanted him to say. The gossiper did not name which official was discussing ANC matters with a leader of the opposition. However, Jonas did name the Luthuli House official who helped him draft his statement, the head of the ANC presidency, Zizi Kodwa. Was it you, Zizi?
