Matter of fact

● In “Woolies still has faith in David Jones” (August 26), we stated that Woolworths’ clothing turnover fell 21.3% to R1.7bn in the year ended June 24. It was, in fact, clothing’s operating profit that declined.

● In “Massmart loses taste for fresh food as results dive” (August 26), we referred to Massmart’s CEO as Mark Hayward. His name is, in fact, Guy Hayward. We regret the errors.
