Asset manager 10X Investments has appointed Cedrick Pila business development manager. He moves from Allan Gray, where he worked in various teams, including retirement operations, investment consultancy and retail distribution. Pila has a BCom and a PDip and is a certified financial planner. Debbie Combrink has been appointed CEO and a partner in the group of companies that own the Tops! at Spar Wine Show, Tops! at Spar Bierfest and the Discovery Tough Mudder.
Combrink has more than 20 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, specialising in marketing, eventing and entertainment. Michelle Olckers and Anoop Ninan have been appointed joint CEOs of Mazars SA.
They take over from current Mazars SA chairman Hilton Saven, who is retiring after 43 years at Mazars, 24 of them as its leader.
Olckers and Ninan have been part of the senior leadership team for 15 and 11 years respectively. Olckers has expertise in auditing as well as business consulting, with experience in the manufacturing, real estate, professional services and tourism sectors.
Ninan has advised on several IPOs and mergers & acquisitions, and has been responsible for the development of new advisory services lines within Mazars.
