Your MSA and you

-

Medical savings accounts (MSAs) have become a standard feature on many medical scheme options. Your MSA is funded by you, in instalments of no more than 25% of your monthly contribution, over the course of the year, but you are given access to the entire amount at the start of the year. You can use this to pay for day-to-day medical costs like doctor visits, X-rays and dentist visits. Any money in your MSA that you haven’t used by the end of the year is carried over to the next year.
