She is a member of its global industrial practice and leads the mining and metals practice in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Integrated infrastructure delivery company Aecom has appointed Werner Comrie as the lead for its water business line in Africa. He joins Aecom from Aurecon, where he was the head of the water unit.

Comrie graduated in civil engineering from the University of Pretoria and has 29 years’ experience in the field of water engineering.

Hudaco Industries, a South African group specialising in the import and distribution of branded automotive, industrial, and electrical consumable products, has appointed Ernie Smith as portfolio executive.

He will initially be responsible for suppliers BI and Bauer Geared Motors. Smith has more than 25 years of industry experience.

Transnet National Ports Authority has appointed Linda Seroka as its business development officer.

She has spent more than 17 years developing and executing strategies to grow businesses. She served as an associate director at Deloitte Consulting after almost eight years there developing a portfolio for multiple clients.
