Boerewors remains the king of the braai but which supermarket makes the best? We asked a group of chefs-in-the-making at the Johannesburg Culinary and Pastry School in Maboneng to reverse their roles, ramp up their appetites and rate boerewors and other South African favourites from four retailers in a blind tasting. They loved the experience and offered excellent feedback, which we share along with their ranking of each product in this instalment of the Sunday Times Food Awards.
