Cash in on Midrand’s growth with investment sectional titles
● Park Village Auctions (PVA) has been instructed to auction five sectional-title residential apartments in three secure housing complexes in Midrand on Wednesday.
PVA’s Jaco du Toit says the sales represented an excellent opportunity for investment buyers. Midrand has enjoyed exponential growth over the past two decades and the demand for residential and commercial property has boomed.
“As more businesses are establishing offices in Midrand (due to its centrality between Johannesburg and Pretoria), hordes of young professionals are trying to find suitable rental options and starter homes. I have no doubt these apartments will sell fast as they each represent an excellent investment opportunity — especially for those purchasers who aim to lease,” said Du Toit.
The auction will commence at 11 am with the sale of unit numbers 141 and 341 of Hill of Good Hope II on Springfield Road in Errand Gardens, Midrand.
Both units are upper-level apartments featuring an open-plan kitchen and lounge, two bedrooms, a family bathroom and a small balcony with one allocated shade-covered parking space. Hill of Good Hope II amenities include a swimming pool, tennis court, and communal braai facilities.
Directly after that, at 12.30pm, a large family townhouse in the Hill of Good Hope I complex on Springfield Road will go under the hammer.
The residence, unit No 147, comprises an entrance foyer and passage, a guest cloakroom, an open-plan lounge, dining room, and kitchen. The lounge leads to a patio that opens onto a private walled garden. The upper level comprises three bedrooms, two bathrooms (one en suite) and a balcony. The unit further includes a double garage and measures 359m² in total.
Finally, at 2pm, two units — No 317 and No 320 — in Phoenix Regent Estate II on Platberg Street in Noordwyk Ext 97 make up the last lots on the block. Both apartments are located on the first floor and comprise an openplan kitchen and lounge, two bedrooms, a family bathroom and small balcony, and have one allocated shaded parking space each.
Phoenix Regent Estate also features a swimming pool, a tennis court and communal braai facilities.
The properties can be viewed one hour before the start of each auction.
