Cyril gave looters enough rope

I believe President Cyril Ramaphosa has played a very clever and patient game, even prior to his appointment to the presidency, “Revolutionary gang of looters are no longer fit to govern” (Readers’ Views, November 18).

He has not forced his views but rather allowed the miscreants to hang themselves via the various commissions. He has not had to fire anyone himself. Rather, they will be obliged to leave. In so doing, he has not upset the ANC voters.

He must be re-elected and will then have the time and space to make the changes we hope for. For this reason, I urge people to vote for the ANC on the national ticket and an opposition party on the provincial ticket.
