Someone who slipped past the obligatory red carpet was Zinhle Jiyane, better known as DJ Zinhle, who I can tell you is back with the rapper and headed backstage to offer moral support.
Zinhle’s bestie Pearl Thusi was the host of the evening, which saw unlucky-in-marriage former soccer player Mark Fish, Nigerian singer Davido and the unfunnily-dressed stand-up comic Nina Hastie lead the salvo of jokes.
With Pearl having famously split from sportscaster Robert Marawa back in 2017, you’ll want to know if rumours are true that the actress is now dating towering NBA basketball player Serge Ibaka.
