MTN Group has appointed Rahul De CEO for MTN Liberia Lonestar Cell. De, who is the current chief marketing officer of MTN Nigeria, has 23 years of experience in telecoms.
De joined MTN in 2011 as chief marketing officer of MTN Ghana, before he joined MTN Nigeria in 2015 as chief marketing officer. He has an MBA in international business.
WesBank Motors has appointed Gudani Mukatuni chief information officer reporting to WesBank chief information officer Nenzeni Duma.
Before joining WesBank, Mukatuni was head of IT for AIG Africa for the Middle East-Africa region. She has also worked for Nedbank, EY, MTN and SNG.
She has a BSc in computer science and mathematics from Wits University, and an MBA.
The Southern African Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (Savca), the industry body for private equity and venture capital in Southern Africa, has appointed Natalie Kolbe, a partner at Actis, and Sthembile Nkabinde, the founder and CEO of Khulasande Capital, directors.
Kolbe started her investment management career at Investec Bank in 1999. In 2002, she joined
Thebe Financial Services as a stock analyst and joined Actis in 2003.
She has a BCom, an MBA and a chartered financial analyst qualification.
Nkabinde is a chartered accountant with 11 years in investment banking and private equity.
She is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s programme for leadership development.
