● Textile group Falke South Africa has appointed Michael de Koker CEO.

He has held senior positions in some of the largest and best known brands, including Guess SA/Africa, Studio 88 group and Woolworths.

De Koker said: “Falke has always put the customer first and continues to do so through ongoing product developmen­t that caters to sport specific requiremen­ts.

“Whether amateur, profession­al, or simply living a healthy lifestyle, Falke supports our customers every step of the way.”

Nick Nkosi has been appointed managing executive of transactio­nal banking at Absa everyday banking.

Nkosi, who has more than 20 years of leadership experience across the retail and business banking sector, has been the head of consumer lending for the past five years, responsibl­e for the overall performanc­e and growth of the consumer lending portfolio, which incorporat­es personal lending and student loans.

In his new role, he will oversee strategy and the deepening of marketlead­ing transactio­nal propositio­ns for customers across Absa’s customer segments.

RedPanda Solutions, a company that provides technology solutions in the retail sector, has appointed Mike Waters as solutions architect.

Waters, who has been with Woolworths for 20 years, has extensive retail and solutions experience.
