On the evening of 2 December 2023, the Sandton Convention Centre played host to the 13th edition of the Radio Awards where the luminaries of the South African radio industry gathered. The Awards event not only recognized on-air talent, but also celebrated the unsung heroes who work hard behind the scenes, weaving the magic that captivates millions of radio listeners across the nation.

The gala dinner unfolded amidst an atmosphere of anticipati­on, as the who’s who of the South African radio industry came together to honour excellence, innovation, and the unwavering spirit that defines local radio.

The awards program aims to motivate radio profession­als to push their boundaries, to constantly evolve in their pursuit of excellence, and to keep their audience not just informed but thoroughly engaged and entertaine­d.
