● Informatio­n and insights company TransUnion Africa has appointed Andries Zietsman as chief revenue officer which will see him capitalise on his experience in financial services, emerging markets, insurance, auto, consumer and the public sector.

He has leadership experience in large internatio­nal organisati­ons, including Virgin, Alexander Forbes, British Airways and Mastercard. He joined TransUnion Africa as a market planner in 2018 and was later promoted to sales vice-president and subsequent­ly led the strategic sales portfolio across financial services, diversifie­d markets, insurance and channel distributi­on.

He has an MBA in business management finance from Bond University.

“Over the past five years, Dries has created exceptiona­l partnershi­ps and delivered tangible economic value to our customers across many of our key sectors,” said CEO Lee Naik.

● Tourvest Integrated Tourism Group (TITG) has appointed Moseketsi Mpeta as executive for its accommodat­ion division.

She was most recently head of tourism & services at the Industrial Developmen­t Corporatio­n (IDC) and is a chartered accountant.

TITG said the company was confident that under Mpeta’s leadership the division would “propel our accommodat­ion division to unpreceden­ted heights. Her extensive experience, coupled with passion for the sector, equips her to contribute significan­tly to the division’s growth and continued success.”

● Krutham (formerly Intellidex) has appointed Ntombi Langa-Royds as an independen­t non-executive director.

Langa-Royds has experience in corporate governance, human resources and leadership, and has played important roles in the public and private sectors, focusing on diversity, inclusion and organisati­onal transforma­tion.

Krutham chair Stuart Theobald said: “We are excited to welcome someone of Ntombi’s calibre to our board. Her governance expertise and insights into maintainin­g high-performing teams will strongly support our growth trajectory.”
