SRK Consulting has promoted Robert Armstrong to the role of director and Richard O’Brien has been appointed as a partner.
Armstrong has more than 20 years of experience, including leadership roles in geotechnical projects across Africa.
SRK said his promotion reflected his contributions and dedication to the company from his time as a student geologist in 2001 to his recent role as managing partner of the mining business unit.
O’Brien has more than 22 years of experience in environmental geochemistry and has experience in management and the remediation of contaminated land.
Renewable energy company Ener-G-Africa (EGA) has appointed Dave Lello as chief business development officer.
Lello, who was part of the team that brought Microsoft to Africa, has worked with EGA for the past two years on its joint biomass gasifier stove project.
EGA CEO Andre Moolman said: “With Dave’s leadership and expertise, we look forward to making significant strides towards a sustainable future for Africa and we look forward to the transformative impact his vision will bring to communities across the region.”
Partners in Performance has appointed Allen Makamure as a director and head of the oil and gas sector for the region.
Makamure has more than 15 years of experience in operations enhancement.
He joined Partners in Performance in 2010 as a business analyst.
The company said Makamure led transformative initiatives across various domains, delivering substantial, sustainable results through operations improvement, cost reduction, capital effectiveness and energy transition.
