To the dark side, then . . .

HOGARTH thought it was another April Fools’ joke when a media statement landed from the ANC’s parliamentary office announcing that the party has snatched up one of his highly talented colleagues, journalist Thabo Mokone.

But alas, it was true, the young man has traded his pen for a vuvuzela on the other side.

Farewell then dear Thabo, Hogarth will miss you immensely. Don’t hesitate to whisper in his ear a titbit or two of gossip about the goings on in the corridors of power. You know Uncle Hogarth would never kiss and tell.
