AIR Traffic and Navigation Services has appointed Thabani Myeza as its commercial services department’s executive.
Myeza has worked for Tata Africa and General Electric, where he managed regional policy and regulatory issues. He co-led the establishment of commercial business services for Rand Water. Before this, he was part of the team that set up Vodacom business in Tanzania and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
He has a BCom from the University of Zululand and an MBA in general management from Texas Southern University. MULTIPLY, Momentum’s wellness and rewards programme, has appointed economist Johann van Tonder as a researcher to help the company understand, track and improve its finances.
Van Tonder has experience in economic research and in making indices from data to explain the effect of economic trends to the public at large.
He joins Multiply from the University of South Africa’s personal finance research unit and Unisa’s the Bureau of Market Research. He holds a Master’s in commerce from the University of the Free State. AGILITY Channel, a marketing, loyalty and distribution company, has appointed Dr Jacqui Joubert as a director and Jacques Jonker as director of distribution.
Joubert has almost 30 years’ experience in the healthcare industry in the clinical, academic and corporate fields. She joins the team from Agility Global Health Solutions, where she was the MD of human capital risk management.
During her career, Joubert served on numerous steering committees in the industry and delivered a number of conference papers about healthcare and disease management, both locally and abroad.
Agility Channel CEO Neels Barendrecht said: “Dr Joubert’s knowledge and experience in dealing with the development, implementation and strategic positioning of diseasemanagement, healthcare and wellbeing programmes and products is invaluable and will help her take Agility Channel to new heights.”
Jonker has 17 years of marketing and sales experience in the financial and medical environment.
Barendrecht said: “Jacques’s impressive achievements as national sales manager for a prominent medical scheme . . . will stand him in good stead for his role as head of distribution at Agility Channel.”
