Calling Jacob Zuma

-

WHERE in the world is No 1? ANC members must be wondering this as they lick their wounds following a disastrous election that left them blue and red.

After every election, an ANC president comes out to give a public assessment of the result. Who can forget Nelson Mandela in 1994? In 1999, Thabo Mbeki gloated with his “The people have spoken” speech.

President Jacob Zuma himself was at his Shakespearean best in 2009, when he poked fun at the opposition by quoting from Macbeth to suggest they were idiots.

With so many metros going to the DA this time, the ANC president has not said a word. The Nkandla Crooner is missing in action. Perhaps he is unlearning the dab.
