Whippersnapper wake-up
MMUSI Obama was clearly drunk on victory as he announced his marriage with smaller parties.
He struggled to contain his excitement, often interrupting the leaders of other parties when their chance to speak came.
He also behaved like the king of the castle when he refused to move away from a mountain of microphones so that others could be properly recorded.
But he was on his best behaviour when General Bantu Holomisa joined him at the table.
Holomisa, who had been instrumental in brokering the coalition deal, would insist on having the last word each time Mmusi had finished speaking.
They don’t call him the general for nothing.
