FNB service at branch runs counter to good sense
WITH reference to last week’s Power Report and FNB: our body corporate has a 32-day call account with FNB and the chairman went in to ask what we needed to do to change to a fixed-deposit to earn more interest.
The lady at our local branch told him to write an appropriate letter, have it signed by the signatories to the account and bring it in. He did exactly that, delivered the letter over the counter and left.
Two days later he gets a telephone call from the branch to say he must bring in the letter personally. He said he had! Not good enough, she says, and he has to go back in to the branch to hand the letter over yet again!
I do not understand the logic. —
