IT looks like the Sunday Times is not interested in running good-news stories. After all the articles that you have written about Eskom bending over backwards to accommodate the Guptas, it is curious to note that you have decided not to publish the fact that Tegeta has now settled the R578-million that was advanced to it.

I think it is in the public interest to note that the prepayment advanced to Tegeta was not out of the norm, and that other companies have benefited from such arrangements before — and all of them have paid back the money that was advanced to them. — Khulu Phasiwe, Eskom spokesman, by e-mail
