HOGARTH is almost sure that SAA board chairwoman Dudu Myeni sighed in relief when she woke up sick on the day that she was due to face parliament’s finance committee.

Myeni, who missed most of the meeting to go to the doctor and arrived after her colleagues had been grilled like spatchcock chickens, told the committee that she thought her illness had been due to something she ate.

Let’s hope it wasn’t her in-flight meal.
