LAW firm Webber Wentzel has appointed Mmadika Moloi a partner in its competition practice. A seasoned expert in competition law, Moloi is based in the firm’s Sandton office.
She brings a decade’s worth of competition law experience to the table. She joins the firm from Tshisevhe Gwina Ratshimbilani Inc, where she was the director and head of competition practice. She has also worked at Norton Rose Fulbright, where she served as a senior associate.
She has worked in other African countries assisting clients assess the requirements of merger notifications. LANGA Ntondini is to become a director of management consultancy PSP Icon.
Ntondini has more than 15 years’ business and consulting experience which, together with a background in engineering, makes him a skilled problemsolver.
Langa joined the PSP Icon team as a principal consultant in April 2014.

Fivaz was head of mergers and acquisitions and facilitated the group’s successful listing on the JSE in March last year.
He joined the company in 2007 as group financial accountant and was promoted to financial manager of the group’s Paarl printing plant in 2008. He then took on the role of business development manager for Novus Holdings in 2009.
Fivaz has an honours in accounting from Stellenbosch University, and is a chartered accountant, having completed his articles in 2006. TONGAAT Hulett has appointed Guy Gordon as a full-time consultant. He will be operating across a number of market sectors the maize and sugar-cane grower has identified as having potential within the region.
Gordon has a property development background, as MD of Amdec Property Development in Johannesburg and Cape Town. During his decade-long tenure at Amdec, Gordon’s responsibilities included the development, asset and property management of Melrose Arch.
Said Gordon: “I believe that my strong business network in the property space, along with my commercial development experience, will assist in Tongaat Hulett’s ever-expanding focus.”
