Sharpening the clause again

-

THE absence of No 1 from home may explain why one of the First Sons craves attention so much.

Edward Zuma, who likes telling everyone he meets that he studied law and must therefore be taken seriously, penned yet another rambling letter this week blaming everyone from former public protector Thuli Madonsela to the media for his father’s woes.

The letter was so sorely lacking in punctuation that one needed the lung capacity of an Olympic swimmer to read a sentence out loud. Here is a sample (take a deep breath): “Pravin is not above the law and he should get that to his head, even if we are being threatened with a downgrade and the rand plunging then so be it as these rating agencies are owned by the very people that are hellbent in removing the president and are paying these people who should release this predetermined and long time crafted report.”
