-

HOGARTH was very surprised to read a newspaper headline saying No 1 had complained to the courts about Madonsela “threatening” him during one of their meetings.

I mean, really, a guy who walks around with dozens of armed bodyguards, is backed by a spy minister who thinks his job is to whisper in the president’s ear about foreign threats, and is bolstered by ministers who have vowed to fight “with our buttocks” to protect him . . . this guy felt threatened by a public protector who can hardly raise her voice above a whisper?
