Thanks for making my job easy this week, M-Net, with yet another new show. In this case, it’s a sitcom starring Minnie Driver (pictured) and John Ross Bowie as Maya and Jimmy, the parents of the DiMeo family. Their three kids, Ray, Dylan and wheelchair-bound JJ, are played by Mason Cook, Kyla Kennedy and Micah Fowler, respectively. It’s light-hearted and irreverent, tackling drama such as finding good schools and siblings getting snippy because their disabled brother seems to get all the attention. Also, is Dylan a girl’s name now? This here’s the second time I’ve heard it used as one. |
