ANC mulls discipline

The ANC’s national working committee will meet tomorrow in the aftermath of the secret ballot in parliament in which at least 26 ANC MPs defied party orders and voted in favour of the motion of no confidence. The NWC will face calls by, among others, Small Business Development Minister Lindiwe Zulu, for ANC dissidents to be disciplined. Secretary-general Gwede Mantashe has rejected a call by Police Minister Fikile Mbalula for MPs to take lie-detector tests.
