Life story not interesting enough for biopic: Khan

-

SUPERSTAR Shah Rukh Khan doesn’t find his life’s story interesting enough for a biopic.

He says that it would be “boring”, unless he decided to write it on his own. The superstar has clocked 25 years in the film industry since his 1992 debut film, Deewana.

Considering the fact that making biopics on iconic personalities is a new trend in Bollywood, he was asked if he would allow any film-maker to make his biopic. ALL COPY BY IANS

The 51-year-old actor said: “You know, I never let people know about the most interesting part of my personality, so you will never get a good story, unless I am writing it.

“So whatever they will make, will just be a success story which I personally feel is so boring. I mean, kya hogi story (what will the story be)? That a boy came from Delhi to Mumbai after his parents’ death and became a superstar without a godfather? Boring.” ENGLAND-BORN singer-composer Adnan Sami, who was granted Indian citizenship more than a year ago, is to make his acting debut with the film Afghan – in Search of a Home. He has asked his fans and well-wishers for their blessings.

“I need your blessings for Afghan – in Search of a Home,” Sami tweeted.

The film will be directed by duo Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru. The Bhar do jholi meri crooner says he is“super excited to work with Sapru and Rao… duo Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru.

“The Bhar do jholi meri is very special to me!” he tweeted.

Sami will be seen playing a musician in this movie. This project will be his first project as an Indian.

Afghan – in Search of a Home is the story of a musician refugee from Afghanistan who flees his country, to make a long and arduous walk to seek an identity and a home.
