Fisher’s death owing to ‘sleep apnea’

-

NEW YORK: The death last year of Carrie Fisher, best known for her role as Princess Leia in the Star Wars franchise, was due to sleep apnea and other causes, the Los Angeles coroner’s office said.

Fisher, 60, died on December 27, four days after she became unresponsive on a flight from London to LA and was rushed to a hospital.

Among the factors that contributed to her death was build-up of fatty tissue in her arteries. The release states that the actress showed signs of having taken multiple drugs. – Reuters
