Ngubane leaves Eskom

-

FORMER Eskom board chairman Ben Ngubane hurriedly left the power utility on Monday evening – resigning with immediate effect and leaving behind the fate of acting chief executive Matshela Koko. Ngubane’s dramatic exit came days after he was forced by the cabinet to rescind the reappointment of former Eskom chief executive Brian Molefe, who returned to the parastatal after spending a few months as an ANC MP. Public Enterprises Minister Lynne Brown appointed board member Zethembe Khoza to take over as interim chairman.
