BABES Wodumo missed out on her first international trip after her management failed to secure her travel visa on time.

The Gqom queen was due to attend the BET awards in LA where she had been nominated in Best International: Africa category.

Her management claimed a communication failure between the THE cancellation of a social cohesion conference, which was to be hosted by the Anc-run ethekwini Municipality, has caused confusion and anger among the public and opposition parties.

The conference, costing R2.1 million, was cancelled on Monday, the same day it was scheduled to take place. In a statement, the municipality said instructions to postpone the event were given last Thursday.

IFP leader Mangosuthu Buthelezi, who had been due to deliver the opening address at the conference, slammed the “ANC’S history of broken promises”.
