Just came my way, says Tuli

MADHURIMA Tuli, who will play the title role in the forthcoming series Chandrakanta, says the project just came my way.

“Chandrakanta is based on the novel by Devaki Nandan Khatri. It is a story about love, betrayal and revenge with the addition of a fantasy world that will appeal to the youth.”

Talking about her role, Madhurima said: “Chandrakanta is a warrior. She loves her life, she is a beauty with a brain and it is her fearless attitude that makes her stand apart from others.

“I actually don’t want to think about doing another show because I don’t want to be distracted. It would ruin my current performance. I will give 100% of myself in the performance and the rest will be up to the audience,” added the actress.

Chandrakanta, which will also feature Urvashi Dholakia and Vishal Aditya Singh, will run for 160 episodes, airing on Colours.
