ESKOM EXPLAINS THE GUPTA LINK

PUBLIC Enterprises Minister Lynne Brown this week received answers from Eskom to outstanding questions about its relationship with Trillian, a Gupta-linked company.

Brown met Eskom chairperson Zethembe Khoza and acting group executive Johnny Dladla earlier this month, to question Eskom’s “commitment to speedily addressing allegations of maladministration and corruption” to restore public confidence in the power utility.

She gave Eskom an ultimatum to provide detailed answers on its relationship with Trillian after rejecting their initial responses. – ANA
