SAFETY pins and pins used to keep garments in place usually damage clothes or cause bodily harm to those using them.

A new accessory aimed at being user-friendly has been introduced to replace them.

The perfect clip is the 20th century nappy pin” designed to keep garments in place without causing any harm.

Gabriella Lucia Cirillo, the pin’s brand ambassador, says the perfect clip is a practical, useful, trendy girlie and fun accessory that every female needs to own.

Like when wearing a scarf and you stretch over a table and your scarf falls over your tea or lunch, the perfect clip prevents those kind of things from happening. It’s a practical, useful, magnetic clip that does not damage your garments,” she tells Sunday World.

The accessory currently sells online but will soon hit retailers.

The idea of the clip was born when its creator, business woman, Liezl Fox was pregnant with her third child. She discovered that her garments were not fitting her correctly and because of her growing body everything was falling off, says Cirillo.

She would run around, and the fit of her clothes would have changed, so bra straps would show, or a scarf would be flung over while chasing children, clients and customers.”

After numerous requests of getting things pinned so they could fit her, she decided to create a magnetic pin that would be fashionable and not damage garments.

The accessory is sold at www.theperfectclip.co.za.
