Nqosha’s record boosts Ward 4
Hendele is ANC’s Ward 10 candidate
BORN in Kenton-on-Sea in 1979, Ayanda Nqosha is the ANC candidate for Ward 4.
He attended Kenton intermediate school until Grade 11. Thereafter he attended Bethelsdorp Technical College, where he was certified in electrical engineering Level 2.
He also attended Nature College and qualified as a field guide level 2.
As for political activism, Nqosha has been a member of the ANC and the ANC Youth League since 1999.
He was proud to serve as elections coordinator in his branch during the first democratic elections in 1994.
His community involvement includes being secretary for the ministerial fraternity in Kenton-on-Sea, and a member of the Community Police Forum at the Kenton police station.
Nqosha has worked as a game ranger at Makhala Game Reserve, a freelance tour guide, as well as working for Silverline Tours and Crisscross Adventures.
He currently works at Ruwacon Industries as assistant construction supervisor
“I’m highly involved in any community development programmes,” he said. THE ANC candidate for Ward 10 is Thembeka Hendele, 40, who was born in 1976 at Hope Farm, 20km outside Port Alfred.
Hendele matriculated in 2000 at Kuyasa Combined School in Nemato. Her community involvement includes serving on the Ward 10 committee, and in the Women’s Manyano of the Ethopian Episcopal Church, Port Alfred branch.
She was a leader in 1997-99 in the Congress of South African Students movement.
As for political involvement, she has served in the ANC Ward 10 branch.
