Standing for Godly governance
THE ACDP’s candidate for Ward 8 is Bonginkosi Paul Zulu, the legal advisor for Numsa in the Eastern Cape.
Zulu holds a Bachelor of Social Science degree in philosophy, politics and law, a post-graduate diploma in labour law, a post-graduate diploma in corporate law, an NQF level 8 Certificate in labour dispute resolution practice and an advanced certificate in Biblical studies.
“I am completing my Bachelor of Law at Unisa,” he said.
“In giving back to the community, I offer free labour law and advice and assistance to the general public of Ndlambe.
“I am also an ordained pastor and I minister to God’s people on a daily basis.
“I stand for Godly governance and accountability, for the establishment of a multi-skills training centre, to curb the unemployment rate, recreational facilities for our youth, a random and unbiased community panel to screen the issuing of tenders and to stop corruption, a municipal blacklist and wall of shame that will publish corrupt municipal officials and councillors, a municipal fraud, theft and corruption hotline, a municipal subsidy for repairs of falling RDP houses and building of proper toilets, a municipal subsidy for training and funding of local shop owners and SMEs, and against exploitation of workers, including those employed by the municipality.”
