Results:

This past Saturday the club hosted their annual Buco 27km race from the Big Pineapple in Bathurst to the Country Club in Port Alfred. Despite gale force winds that fortunately were blowing the runners from behind we had a good turnout.

Congratulations to Marlene Wiese on doing her 20th Pineapple race in 3 hours 20 minutes.

Ayabonga Saul won the junior section of the 10km race in 42 minutes 19 seconds.

It was great to see the travelling Nepgens at the race. Carol was 2nd in the 60 plus age group in 3:57.The following day they took part in the Baywest trail run in Port Elizabeth and we hear a couple of circuit races are on the cards shortly.

On Sunday all the club race helpers did the run in near perfect conditions. Their times will be added to the official race results.
