Hospice thanks for golf tournament

THE management and staff at Grahamstow­n and Sunshine Coast Hospice thank the golfers and volunteers from the Alexandria Golf Club who raised R7630 for our Hospice at the recent tournament held at the club.

Congratula­tions to club president Margaret Smith and club captain Alan Brotherton on the wonderful success of the event.

Special thanks to Landie Bosman and Joan Delport for their support. We are grateful to this team and their helpers for all the hard work that went into coordinati­ng this tournament and are delighted with the funds raised in support of our work.

We also appreciate the efforts of our Hospice staff based in Alexandria, Bettie Janse van Vuuren and Buyelwa Jikolo who collected prizes and donations from our generous sponsors.

Thanks too to the golfers who played on the day. We appreciate all the support and sponsorshi­p and thoroughly enjoyed the festive atmosphere during the prize-giving held at the clubhouse.
