Mark Shelton and Campbell expressed their thanks to loyal customers for their support over the last 21 years. “It is only through the communities support that we are able to give back to the community from bowls to rugby, fishing, golf and all our wonderful schools to name a few we would just like to say thank you. As Pick n Pay is a family-oriented store, we could not have become who we are today without your help and support, as well as the fantastic working relationship with our suppliers without whom we would not be able to make Pick n Pay possible,” Campbell said.

“We would also like to acknowledge the effort and commitment of our staff and management team, with many of our staff now having completed 21 years’ service. It has given us great pleasure to see many of our staff promoted to become department heads and management,” he said.

“We are truly appreciative of our customers for their patience and understanding during the revamp of the supermarket, but believe the wider aisles, extended shop floor and refrigeration, as well as a bigger range, was worth the temporary inconvenience as it will considerably improve your shopping experience.

“The Pick n Pay Port Alfred renovations have led to an additional floor for storage as well as an added 350m² to the store and made it more shopper friendly for customers to have the best possible shopping experience.

“The revamp and extension of the shop floor at Pick n Pay was disruptive for a few months, but thankfully it is now completed. Renovations to the mall generally will take a bit longer. However, this overhaul will also make your visit all the more pleasant and will be well worth the wait.”
