Talk of the Town

We are all too human

- Simon Oliver

As I get older, I find time seems to pass more and more quickly.

There is so much to do and there just isn’t enough time to complete it all … I refuse to admit that I perhaps I might longer to get things done!

One would think that with the help of technology doing so much of the mundane, and now with Artificial Intelligence making informed decisions for us, we would have more time.

But we are human, we set our course and we set the pace with empathy, passion and improvisation.

What we achieve will be determined not only by the big plan but also by the decisions we make moment by moment.

How quickly we make those small changes that refine the final outcome, and make it really spectacular.

I find this philosophy applies as much to my life as it does to my home and garden.

I never seem to have the final product.

I think I know what it is … but then I make little changes here and there.

Those changes lead to other changes and all of a sudden I am off on another journey, and as I travel I learn more about what works and what doesn’t. This helps me refine the big plan.

I enjoy watching new ideas either succeed or fail and then using what I have learnt to make the next change.

The failures give us an opportunity to explore and the successes are a time to celebrate.

My experience is that change improves my enjoyment of my home and garden. It might take a bit of effort but I enjoy the journey.

For those of you who are selling, this process will always make sure that your home will always be attractive to sell.

Buyers will either see a home that has been cared for or will create an opportunity for them to put their own mark on.
