Alzheimer SA East Cape Support Group meets on the last Thursday of each month at 3pm at Brookshaw Home at 9 Donkin Street, Makhanda. The support group is for family, friends and caregivers of those with Alzheimer’s or any form of dementia. There is usually a speaker followed by discussion and tea. The RfR DITTO project offers a Breast Prosthesis Clinic every second Tuesday of the month, commencing January at Sunshine Coast Hospice, 1 Alfred Road, from 2pm-4pm. Any State Hospital patient who has had a mastectomy, may visit the Breast Clinic for a prosthesis fitting and advice.
