Charities to benefit from artists’ sales
Art on the Verandah exhibition supports NGOs’ vital work
rtists exhibiting and selling their work at Art on the Verandah next weekend will each donate the sale of one of their pieces to their favourite charity.
The annual event takes place at the newly renovated Bushmans River Community Hall from December 15-17.
“We have a wonderful new element to the event this year,” organiser Adri Moller said.
“Each artist will designate one work for their favourite charity, and proceeds from the sales of those works will go to those charities.”
Eight artists will be exhibiting at the three-day event, organised in partnership with the Bushmans Residents and Ratepayers Organisation, BRRAG.

Jolene Olivier is drawn to lines “any lines!” With an eye for detail, she uses characteristics of flowers, plants and trees, combined with their cultural symbolism and her own meaning, as a therapeutic practice. It is her hope that her works will inspire others to find a calmer and more engaged way of seeing their life and that they stop to smell the flowers.
