Port Alfred High Sports Results Week 6 Tennis Junior U11 Mixed v Shaw Park February 13 (home)

PAHS lost the doubles 19-15. Conner Venter and Lukholo Xhanti won their doubles match 6-1.

Junior Boys U13 v Graeme College February 17 (away).

We lost the singles 39-26. Lilonke Vuso and Qiqa Xamesi both won their singles games. We lost the doubles 63-35.

Senior Boys U15A v Kingswood College U15A. February 17 (away)

PAHS won the singles 47-34, and the doubles 70-60.

Swimming Eastern Cape Trials 17 (East London)

Congratula­tions to Camryn Shaw who came first in the U15 50m breaststro­ke, third in the 100m breaststro­ke, and third in the 50m freestyle. Jaimey Shaw came fifth in the U12 50m breaststro­ke, seventh in the 50m backstroke, seventh in 50m butterfly and seventh in the 50m freestyle.

Kingswood batted first, scoring 100/5 in 20 overs. PAHS scored 101/8 in 19.4 overs, to win by 2 wickets. The man of the match was Taige Duncan who made 34 runs.

Junior U13 Cricket v Kingswood College U13B — February 14 (away):

PAHS scored 97/4 in 20 overs. Kingswood passed the score in 19.2 overs. The best batsmen was Inakho Mbolekwa who scored 25 runs. The best bowler was Inako Mbolekwa (2/10 in four overs). PAHS lost by 4 wickets.

Junior U13 cricket vs Beaconhurs­t February 17 (East London)

Beaconhurs­t scored 135/6. PAHS reached the target in 16 overs. The best batsmen were Inakho Mbolekwa, who scored 52 runs not out. Tristan Meyer contribute­d 49 runs. The best bowler was Kyle Nelson who took 3/12 in four overs. PAHS won by seven wickets.

Senior boys first cricket vs Beaconhurs­t February 17 (Home):

PAHS made 173/7 in 20 overs. Beaconhurs­t scored 110 for 9. PAHS beat them by 63 runs. Sine Mbece was the man-of-the-match for scoring 66.
