U11 boys v St Andrew’s Prep —

Tuesday February 20 (away)

The PAHS boys won the match by a close margin.

Junior boys & girls U11 v Kenton Primary — Thursday February 22.

In a mixed tennis match,12 of our boys and girls played against the Kenton Primary U11s. PAHS won the games comfortabl­y.

U15A v Kingswood College Friday February 17 (away)

PAHS lost the singles 48-46 and won the doubles 71-63.

Senior boys v Kingswood College first team — Wednesday February 21 (away)

PAHS lost the singles 48-13.

Swimming Junior Albany Trials Gala Wednesday February 15 (GHT):

Congratula­tions to Jaimey Shaw who came first in the U12 50m freestyle, first in 50m breaststro­ke, first in 50m backstroke and first in the 50m butterfly.

Caitlin de Wet came fifth in the U11 50m freestyle, fifth in the 50m backstroke and eighth in the 50m breaststro­ke.

Chelsea Oosthuizen came 10th in the U10 50m freestyle. Congratula­tions to Jaimey Shaw, who will be representi­ng the Albany team at the inter-districts gala on March 5.

Athletics Eastern Cape Championsh­ips Wednesday February 21 (Westbourne Oval)

Jorja Walker won a silver medal for her second place in long jump and came fourth in the 200m final. Sine Mabece came second in the 100m heats and fifth in the final. He won a gold medal for first place in the long jump. Lithetha Gcume won a silver medal for second in the 1500m, a bronze medal for third in the 5000m, and came fourth in 800m.

Runified City 10km run at Pollock Beach, Gqeberha February 25

Lithetha Gcume was the second junior and 13th overall runner at the Runified City 10km in 33:33 a new personal best!

Cricket: Junior U9 v Kenton Primary Wednesday February 21 (home)

The U9s of both schools had a great game and had lots of fun. —

Junior U11 v Kenton Primary Wednesday February 21 (home):

PAHS won the toss and elected to bowl. Kenton made 103/8 in 20 overs.

Port Alfred managed to chase down the runs, winning in the last over.

PAHS won by one wicket.

Junior U13 v Kenton Primary Wednesday February 21 (home):

Kenton scored 115/1. Best bowler Inakho Mbolekwa 1/24 in four overs. PAHS scored 95/5 runs in 20 overs. Best batsmen was Tristan Meyer with 38 not out.

PAHS lost by 19 runs.

Junior U13 v Lilyfontei­n Saturday February 24 (East London)

Lilyfontei­n scored 204 runs. The best bowler was Ethan Green with 2/29 in six overs.

PAHS scored 207/7 in 32 overs. The best batsmen was Inako Mbolekwa who made 87 runs, not out. PAHS won by three wickets.

Senior Boys U15 v Graeme College U14B/U15B Saturday February 24 (home):

PAHS made 154/6 in 30 overs. Graeme College made 143 in 24.3 overs. PAHS won the game by 11 runs.

Senior Boys firsts v Graeme College second team - Saturday February 24 (home):

PAHS firsts were all out for 95. Graeme seconds 96/7. PAHS lost by 3 wickets.
