Cricket Pineapple Cricket Tournament

Our first team cricketers have been exposed to a magnificen­t opportunit­y of participat­ing in the Pineapple Cricket week.

Not only have they learnt some humbling experience­s, but so much more about how to play the gentleman’s game as it should be played, from those cricketers who have been there and done it!

We thank Dave Duncan for the sponsorshi­p of our first team shirts. Congratula­tions must also go to Michael Shavings on our grounds staff. He won the best groundsman of the tournament award for the second year.

Stormberg were bowled out for 228.

PAHS managed only 33 runs and lost the game.

PAHS v Cathcart Invitation

Cathcart 282 all out.

PAHS 132 all out.

PAHS lost by 150 runs. Liyoma Lupondo scored 32 not out.

Komga Cobras 248 all out. PAHS made 186/7. Onwabile Bobo was run out on 99 from the last ball.

Debating Senior Rhini League Competitio­n Finals Saturday March 9 (KC)

The PAHS first team beat St Andrews’ first team. The PAHS first team have won five out of seven debates in the Rhini League this year. The motion on Saturday essentiall­y explored choice feminism versus general morality.
