Monday March 18 to Sunday March 24 Monday:

A suspect trespassed on a property in Riverside Drive, severing and absconding with a cable from a trailer. The South African Police Service (SAPS) has registered a case.

An act of vandalism was reported at a property in West Street, where a cable was cut.

An armed response team was dispatched to Gluckman Street due to a disturbanc­e caused by car-guards fighting in the street. The situation was defused, and the individual­s involved were warned and vacated the area.

Wednesday: Two separate incidents of shopliftin­g were reported at a property in Biscay Road. In both instances, the suspects were apprehende­d and handed over to the SAPS for further investigat­ion.

A theft of solar lights was reported at a property in Francolin Road. An armed response team attended the scene, and the case is under investigat­ion.

Copper pipes were stolen from a property in Halstead Road. A case has been registered with the SAPS.

Thursday: A stolen vehicle was recovered in Albany Road by our team in collaborat­ion with the SAPS. A suspect was arrested and charged with possession of a stolen vehicle.

Friday: A theft was reported at a property in York Lane, where cables and two garden chairs were stolen. A case has been registered with the SAPS.

A suspect was apprehende­d in St Andrews Road following an assault. A case has been registered with the SAPS.

Saturday: The theft of copper pipes was reported from a property in Bathurst Street. A case of theft has been registered with the SAPS.

A suspect was reported on a property in Oriole Road. The suspect fled the scene after an armed response team and the SAPS were dispatched to the premises. No arrest was made.

Sunday: An uninvited individual was removed by an armed response team from a client’s property in Albany Road.
