Fuel levy money merely disappears

E-tolls letter on November 10 refers.

I attended a post budget get-together arranged by the DA in 2012 where the question of a fuel levy was raised. The shadow finance minister replied and, I quote: “The money goes to the fiscus.”

I replied: “The money must go into the road levy. That’s where the money belongs.”

Dream on. The money is used to balance the large fiscus black hole. AR Gordon, Honeydew
