Off to Parowdise

-

Jack Parow released his Eastern-inspired reworking of Last Laugh and is off for his first performance in Dubai.

“One chilled autumn afternoon I had some time on my hands and started experimenting a bit and ended up with this version of Last Laugh,” the rapper says.

As a result he included a psychedelic track with Eastern and Middle Eastern pops.

Last Laugh was originally released on his 2012 gold selling record, Eksie Ou. The song lingered, with an acoustic version included on Nag Van Die Lang Pette. Now the reworked version, with its accompanying music video, helps build excitement for something else from Parow: his first book.

Last Laugh tells the story of his teens and serves as an introduction to Die Ou Met Die Snor By Die Bar.

The book is Parow’s account of his life to author Theunis Engelbrecht, and is earmarked

for national release in September. The book will reveal his life on the road, as well as hangover cures.

Always busy, Parow is jetting to Dubai this weekend to perform at The Dekon8 alongside Charl Chaka and Just Lance.

He’s also back on the road for the Jägermeister presents Jack Parow tour in South Africa.

Superfans in and around Cape Town can look forward to the UberBus with Jack Parow on Saturday May 30.

Uber users lucky enough to successfully request a spot using the Uber app, will be collected by the UberBus and treated to a party bus experience with Parow. Revellers will be picked up in Bellville, Durbanville and Stellenbosch and end up at AandKlas.
